Using "form_for(@recipe)" in engines

Reported by andrew05 | January 3rd, 2009 @ 02:29 AM

I'm using Rails 2.2. Using the default "form_for(@recipe)" (in vendor/plugins/recipes_app_sample/app/views/new.html.erb) doesn't work for me when I'm trying to create a new recipe.

It seems that I have to append a "form_for(@recipe, :url => { :action => :create })" to create a new recipe when I'm using the engines plugin.

Is that correct, or is there a workaround to simply just use the recommended Rails 2.0 way of "form_for(@recipe)"?

I can't replicate this - see my attempts in the branch 'ticket_42' on github. Are you sure this is a problem with the engines plugin?

Haven't heard anything about this, so closing.
